Cobb Police to Hold South Cobb Community Meeting

Meet South Cobb's crime fighters at the first community meeting of the year in Austell held by the Cobb County Police Department.

The Cobb County Police Department Precinct 2, which covers the South Cobb area, will hold its first community meeting of the year on Tuesday, July 9.

The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. in the community room at the Austell Road Government Center located at 4700 Austell Road.

Precinct 2 Commander Capt. Jeff Adcock as well as officers and detectives will be on hand to hear any concerns or comments South Cobb residents have about crime in the community.

Officers will also discuss crime statistics in South Cobb, and a special presentation sponsored by the Crimes Against Children’s unit will be presented to educate citizens about the growing problem of “sexploitation” of children. 

"The meeting is open to all so bring a friend and come meet your crime fighters of South Cobb," said Capt. Adcock.
