Meet South Cobb's Crime Fighters Today

The Cobb County Police Department will hold the first community meeting of the year in Austell Tuesday evening.

The Cobb County Police Department Precinct 2, which covers the South Cobb area, will hold its first community meeting of the year tonight.

The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. in the community room at the Austell Road Government Center located at 4700 Austell Road.

Precinct 2 Commander Capt. Jeff Adcock as well as officers and detectives will be on hand to hear any concerns or comments South Cobb residents have about crime in the community.  

Officers will also discuss crime statistics in South Cobb, and a special presentation sponsored by the Crimes Against Children’s unit will be presented to educate citizens about the growing problem of “sexploitation” of children.
