Update: Mableton Man Killed by Police Identified

Incident happened when police responded to domestic dispute.

The man shot by Cobb police responding to a domestic dispute on Donna Street has been identified as 53-year-old Clarence Dorris of Mableton.

A man was shot and killed Monday morning by Cobb police responding to a domestic dispute in Mableton, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

According to the article, a woman called 911 to report an argument with her husband. When Cobb police got to the home, the man, who had left, drove his truck into the yard and pointed a weapon at police.

The identity of the man, who died after being transported to Atlanta Medical Center, has not been released. Read the full story here.
