Austell Man Wanted in Home Burglary

Two other suspects have been in custody since the day of the burglary because the homeowner took matters into his own hands.

An arrest warrant has been issued for the third suspect in an Austell burglary and he is no stranger to law enforcement.

Devin DeSean Harrison of Austell faces a charge of burglary in connection with the July 12 incident at a home in the 1200 block of Mt. Pisagh Downs.

"The victim did pick out a picture of said accused from a six person photo lineup as being the third perpetrator in this incident," police said.

Harrison is a documented member of the Re-Up gang who was arrested in March on multiple charges after he and three other members allegedly went to Pebblebrook High to rob a student of his cell phone. The disposition of that case is not known.

In the latest incident, Harrison, Kunta Kinte Grier Jr. and Samuel Hill Walker allegedly stole a 7-inch wet tile saw, a military-style phone and about $200 dollars in loose coins.

Grier and Walker, who are both from Austell, have been in the Cobb County Adult Detention Center since the day of the burglary in lieu of $25,000 bond.

"The victim confronted all three subjects at gunpoint and apprehended two of the three co-defendants as the third subject fled the scene," Cobb police said.

Like Harrison, Grier and Walker each face a charge of burglary.
