Austell Homeowner Catches Burglary Suspects

Two of the three suspects are now behind bars.

When three people broke into the Mt. Pisgah Downs home of one Austell resident Friday morning, the homeowner took matters into his own hands.

"The victim confronted all three subjects at gunpoint and apprehended two of the three co-defendants as the third subject fled the scene," Cobb police said.

And because of that, two of the suspects are now behind bars.

Kunta Kinte Grier Jr. and Samuel Hill Walker each face a charge of burglary. They are in the Cobb County Adult Detention Center in lieu of $25,000 bond.
