Armed Robbery at Austell Waffle House

One suspect in the incident has been arrested while the other two are at large, said Cobb police.

Cobb police are investigating an armed robbery that took place Sunday evening at the Waffle House on Six Flags Drive near Riverside Parkway in Austell.

According to investigators, two men entered the restaurant wearing masks, and one was armed with a handgun. The suspects stole an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register, fled the business, and entered a vehicle driven by a third suspect who's a female.

Authorities arrested one of the suspects, Charles Bernard Anderson, who is currently in custody at the Cobb County Adult Detention Center. The other two suspects are still at large.

Investigators say the other male perpetrator is decribed as a 6'2'' tall, 250-pound black male who was last seen wearing black clothing and a black mask. The female suspect was seen wearing a pink shirt.
