2nd Suspect Arrested in Austell Slaying
He's been charged with the killing of Deirdre Smith on Monday.
A second suspect has been charged with the shooting death of an Austell woman earlier this week.
Cobb Police said this morning that Samuel Blackwell, 33, of Atlanta, turned himself in to Atlanta Police last night.
He has been transferred to the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, where he is being held without bond on one count of felony murder, according to a Cobb Sheriff's Office booking report.
Deirdre Smith, 47, was found shot to death Monday in the Oakhill Circle area.
Khalil Kelly, 17, of Austell, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and felony murder on Tuesday. He also is being held without bond.
