2 South Cobb Businesses Robbed

A Mableton Metro PCS and an Austell Waffle House were robbed Wednesday night within a span of nearly five hours.

The Cobb County Police Department is looking for the suspects who robbed two South Cobb businesses Wednesday night.

Just after 7 p.m., a man went inside the Metro PCS store at 5345 Floyd Rd. with a revolver and demanded money, said Officer Mike Bowman, the spokesman for the Cobb County Police Department.

When the suspect got the money, he fled the business on foot and headed toward Fontaine Road.

The second robbery occurred around 11:45 p.m. when two men, one of them armed with a rifle, entered the Austell Waffle House through an unsecured back door wearing black pants and black hoodies, Bowman said.

The men left the Waffle House at 7350 Six Flags Dr. in an unknown direction after they got an undisclosed amount of cash.

No one was injured in either robbery, Bowman said.

The suspect in the Metro PCS robbery is black, 6-feet-tall and about 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. He wore a knitted cap with the eye holes cut out to conceal his face.

Both of the black male suspects in the Waffle House robbery are 5-foot-11 with a thin build. One has a fair complexion. The other is dark skinned.

If you have information about either robbery, call 770-499-3945.

Well Monica, Me and my Ex wife were in that same Waffle house 14 years ago when they were robbed at gunpoint in the evening two hooded young African-American men walked in with guns and stuck a gun in the back of a young lady back while the waffle house cashier sat on her duff smoking a cigarette, so I told her to get off her lazy behind before they started shooting customers.
