Miles for Mammogram Fundraiser to support Cobb WellStar

The family of East-West Church is proud to host the Annual "FIGHT BOLD" Miles for Mammograms Walk/Run/Cycling & Motorcycle Ride on Oct. 6. Proceeds to benefit mammogram screenings through WellStar Cobb Hospital.

Show your support for early detection by participating in these local breast cancer fund-raising events. It enables all of us to build our community, raise awareness and promote early detection; while raising funds to benefit WellStar Cobb to provide mammograms for those in our area who cannot afford them.

Walk/Run/Cycling: Registration: $25  - Children (Ages 12 and under free)
Registration starts 7:30-8:45am [Ivy Hall Day School Parking Lot, 3375 Florence Road in Powder Springs, GA. Located at the corner of Florence Road & C.H. James Parkway (278)] Last person out by 9am.

Choose a three-mile Fun Run or Walk, or take it to the next level with a 10k Run. For our Cycling enthusiast, you can ride 3 miles or you can ride 20 miles. We will be waiting for you when you get back (unless you ride to Alabama:). Last person in by 11am

We are proud to have Ms. Jocelyn Dorsey, host of WSB-TV's "People to People"as the Grand Marshal for this year's Motorcycle Ride. The 43 mile Police Escorted Ride will start & end at Harley-Davidson of Atlanta on October 6.

For as little as $130, we can provide a mammogram for those in our area who cannot afford them. Unlike most events, many of our participants are reaching out to their family & friends to sponsor them to fund at least ONE MAMMOGRAM.
