Good News


Mableton, Ga.---Mableton couple celebrates the college graduation of their last son Saturday, December 7, 2013 at Savannah State University.  In a  time when African American males  are seldom celebrated for academic success, this Mableton couple has beat the odds and have successfully raised and sent to school, three African American sons with college degrees. Jeremy Crawford, graduate of Pebblebrook High School , B.A. in English at Wright State University in Ohio(2010), Joseph Crawford, graduate of the I.B. program at Campbell High School,  B.S. in Math and Computer Science at Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia(2013), and Joshua Crawford, a graduate of Pebblebrook High School,  B. A in Mass Communications and a minor in Marketing at Savannah State University. Joseph Crawford received a Dean’s Fellowship to the University Of Notre Dame and is currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science.  Johnny Crawford is a photojournalist for the Atlanta Journal and Constitution, and Jacqueline Crawford teaches fourth grade at Clay Elementary School in south Cobb County.
