Dennis Andrew Ozburn, age 55 of Dallas, died Oct. 3. He was a native Georgian who spent his childhood in Austell. He graduated from in 1974, excelling in football and soccer. After graduation, he joined the United States Marine Corp and was lately employed by Allied Fence Company of Mableton. Dennis is survived by his wife, Joy Mondello Ozburn; his daughter, Ashley Marie Ozburn of Dallas; mother, Louise Raymond of Cartersville; sisters, Vanessa Berryhill of Mableton, Gay Hambey and Jackie Schray of Cartersville and nieces and nephews. He will be loved and missed by all.

Marshall A. Vix, age 81 of Austell, passed away Oct. 3. Marshall worked for General Motors for 38 Β½ years before his retirement in 1986. He was a member of Yellow Rocks Square Dancers and an Assistant Scout Master for Boy Scouts of America. He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Edna Vix; children, Derrick Vix of Austell, Linda Vix Hardesty of Twisp, WA, Jon Hamby of Pine Lake, Julie Stegall of Acworth and step- grandchildren, Allenia Stegall and Ethan Hamby. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Funeral services were held at on Thursday, Oct. 6, at 2 p.m. Interment followed at Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens.

William Robert Rissman, 86 of Austell, died Oct. 4. He is survived by his children, Gail Allen of Carrollton, Rick & Sherri Rissman of Dallas, GA, Bill & Trish Rissman of McKinney, TX; grandchildren, Bob & Sophie Ream, Katie Ream, Stephanie & Tyler Chapman and Rich Rissman. A celebration of life was held 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 8 at , 3829 Floyd Road, Austell, GA 30106.

Ruby Bishop, age 78 of Mableton, passed away Sunday, Oct. 9. She was a member of since the age of 12. She loved to sew, knit, put puzzles together, play bingo and talk with her friends. She was a great cook and was known best for her banana pudding. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She is survived by her daughter and son-in law, Lea Ann and Brian Moore of Douglasville; brother and sister- in-law, Joe and Sue Moon of Stone Mountain; grandchildren, Alexandria, Ivey, and Wilson Moore; brother-in-law, Don Howard of Mableton; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m.Β  at . Interment will follow at Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens. Dr. Randal Whitten officiating. Family will receive friends Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Harmony Baptist Church, 561 Veterans Memorial Hwy SE Mableton, GA 30126.
