Annie Mildred Peebles Stephens, 88, of Mableton passed away in the evening of Saturday, August 10 at her home surrounded by loved ones.
A wife, mother, and grandmother, Mrs. Stephens enjoyed raising her family and caring for her home. A member of the Coachman Caravan Club, she and her husband Steve traveled in their RV to all 48 of the contiguous United States.
Mrs. Stephens is survived by her husband of 65 years, Guice Pantlie "Steve" Stephens; daughter, Jane Ann Stephens Woods and her husband Gene of Austell; sister, Bernice Keown of Spring, Texas; grandchildren, Lee Wood and his wife Sherry, Nichlas Wood, and Shelly Wood; and great-grandchildren, Lil' Lee Wood, Tyler Wood, and Christopher Wood.
The family will receive friends until 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14 before they leave in procession for Graveside Services at 3 p.m. at Mozley Memorial Gardens in Lithia Springs with Rev. David York officiating. Interment to follow.
