NW Metro Atlanta Habitat Honored by Gift from Wells Fargo through 'Days of Giving'

NW Metro Atlanta Habitat for Humanity was honored by Wells Fargo with two $1,000 grants at the company’s Days of Giving (DOG) celebration at the Mansour Center in Marietta in late October.  This is the second year that NWMAHFH has been nominated for this honor by two frontline Wells Fargo employees, Ryan Stokeling and Rochelle Orlando, which accounts for their receipt two grants.

The donation to NW Metro Atlanta Habitat helped push the total giving in Georgia by Wells Fargo through the DOG program to $1 million, since its beginning four years ago.  NWMAHFH is one of 251 non-profits in the Atlanta area that received a contribution this year.

“It’s great that Days of Giving has surpassed the million-dollar mark and this is a good way to demonstrate how we are trying to be the best local bank in the Atlanta area,” said Jim Lawrence, area president for west Atlanta.  The Wells Fargo west Atlanta division also demonstrated its staunch support of NWMAHFH by contributing close to $70,000 over the past four years to help build houses.
