Peace in the Streets At South Cobb Recreation Center

South Cobb Recreation Center located at 875 Six Flags Drive, Austell, Georgia held a Peace inthe Streets event in partnership with radio station V103, Amerigroup and Metro PCS. Over 300 children  and adults came out to the event on Thursday evening and took part in recreational activities, line dancing, face painting and touch football with Semi pro team BLAZE. Austell Community Taskforce was present doing community surveys and passing out community resource lists. The even was planned over a month ago but was well needed in the Six Flags Drive area. Great Job Mr. Leslie Walker, South Cobb Recreation Center Director, Destiny Dance team from Boys and Girls Club, Karen Shirley with Community Play House, Royal Elites. Also to Cobb County Police Department for attending as well.
