Mableton Woman Places First in Business Competition

Deborah Wilson of Mableton took home first for marketing and third for her team's business presentation.

Continuing their success from the recent district competition, several Chattahoochee Technical College students, including Deborah Wilson of Mableton, took home honors in the Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) state competition recently.

The competition was held in conjunction with the 2012 Phi Beta Lambda State Leadership Conference at the Westin Atlanta Hotel at Perimeter April 13-15. Other top finishers were Waymon Carr of Marietta, Erick Castro of Smyrna and Jennifer White of Smyrna.

This year Wilson, Carr and Castro have been invited to compete in the same events at the National Leadership Conference in San Antonio, Texas in June.
