Bad Guys Loose

An appeal for sanity

When looking at President Obama’s action plan to protect us and our children, it appears that guns can be taken out of the hands of bad guys.

Universal background checks will stop felons and unstable persons from buying guns. A ban on armor piercing bullets will protect our law enforcement personnel. Limits on magazine capacity will also serve to protect our law enforcement personnel and potentially reduce the carnage they can cause. Renewing the assault weapon ban also stops felons and unstable persons from buying these type guns.

This time, the entire Georgia congressional delegation needs to turn their back on the thousands of campaign dollars stuffed in their pockets by the NRA and vote to do the right thing by supporting the President, our neighbors, and our children.

A long journey to a safer America begins with this first step.

What makes you think that felons are using legal channels to obtain weapons?
Larry King January 22, 2013 at 01:23 pm
Not my data that supports this, but the NRA

Please encourage residents to attend CCt flex bus meeting at the South Cobb Library on Tuesday JuneRead More 18t 6pm-8pm. The first meeting only had 11 residents there and none were bus riders. I have encouraged residents that have teens to attend meeting because this help our teens get to jobs or social activities and not just hang out in the neighborhood. We must also plan for the future and underswtrand that just because you are driving today, it may not be the case all the time. Your situation can change with a blink of an eye.
