First Annual Shred Event Saved 20 Trees!

First annual community shred event a great success, saving over 20 trees!

We had a great turn out for our first annual community shred event April 28th in the Mableton neighborhood of Vinings Estates. Thank you to everyone who came out. The free event benefitted both the community and the environment. Within three hours, we had shredded over 2000 pounds of paper! That’s like saving 20 trees! Petersen Partners plans to make this an annual event and is already setting goals to save even more trees next year.

We were thrilled by the number of people who came out to Vinings Estates on Saturday to take advantage of Global Documents Shredding’s services to safely and securely destroy their confidential paper documents in a environmentally safe way. It was a beautiful day and the perfect time to do some spring cleaning & clear out old tax, bank, and personal records in a secure, environmentally friendly way. All of the shredded paper will be recycled, making our community a safer and cleaner place to live.

Petersen Partners would like to thank local residents and business owners Bailey-Bruster & Ellis Orthodontics for sponsoring the event. Ten student volunteers from Whitefield Academy also helped unload and carry documents for shredding- making this a real community effort.
