Cobb Republican Women elect new Officers for 2013
Cobb County Women assume new roles in Republican Party.
Women from all over our county recently met and decided on new leaders for the coming year.
Republicans representing South Cobb, West Cobb, Marietta, Smyrna and Northeast Cobb were in attendance as was Rose Wing and Bob Ott.
Bob Ott who was in attendance with his wife Judy received an award for his
contributions to the organization.
Rose Wing was recognized for her continued support of the clubs goals and
efforts.Β

The officers chosen to serve for the next twelve months reads like a who's who of cobb politics.Β New officers installed were:Janet Bell, President; Barbara Hickey, President Elect; Dee Gay, Vice President; Sherry Roedl, Treasurer; Cheryl Lenney, Assistant Treasurer; Martha Dearmon, Corresponding Secretary; and Helen Story, Recording Secretary
The event was held at the Hilton Conference center, in Marietta, and attended by over 60 members of the organization.

The organization also presented two checks totalingΒ $5,000 Β to Cpl Todd Love from Kennesaw ...Todd accepted the wonderful gift to use for construction under the "Tunnel to Towers " program.Β Cpl LoveΒ is a triple amputee from wounds suffered in Afghanistan and is now home living in Kennesaw.
