POSITION WITHOUT POWER IS JUST A SEAT!!

There is no they, them, or us. Just us. Let's just get over ourselves. It is time to win, together.

Power comes from commitment to be effective, collaboration with others, total inclusion, competence to get the job done, and finally, the respect of the people you are leading.  No man or woman is an island unto themselves.

Of all of the ingredients to leadership, “inclusion” is most potent.  You never know “who” knows or have what you need.  People carry the seeds to our dreams!!

Make no mistake, to achieve success in leadership, consistent inclusion is critical.  The fatal flaw of any leader is assuming they can gain winning results without total inclusion.  Every team needs energy, knowledge, and experience; it comes from the most unlikely "people."

Like a crossword puzzle, until all pieces are included the puzzle is a failure.  For years, I have witnessed otherwise intelligent and capable leaders attempt to win with what appeared to be insignificant parts of the puzzle missing.  In the end, that piece that appeared to be insignificant eliminated the leader from total success. There is no retroactive sincerity!  An incomplete puzzle is just that, incomplete.

Situational inclusion is another fatal flaw.  Consistency is power.  The essence is seen by a popular song by Fleetwood Mac entitled:  “Dreams”

The operative chorus says it all:

“Thunder only happens when it's raining..Players only love you when they're playing..."  See full lyrics in link below:

Adults, children, babies, and even animals know when your heart is not right.

The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it? Jeremiah 17:9

While it is hard to understand it; the heart can be changed.

If we, as a society, can wrap our minds around the fact that none of us had the power to become a part of this world but all are a part of this world; it would be the beginning of success for completing any puzzle.  It is the critical link for the success in leading any group in world. There is no they, them, or us.  Just us.

Let’s just get over ourselves.  It is time to win, together.
