It's the time of year that I always look forward to: the Christmas season, the holiday season. I love hearing Christmas music at the stores, decorating the tree, riding around looking at decorated Christmas homes and catching episodes of "A Christmas Story" during its 24-hour loop.
To me, right behind celebrating the birth of Christ, Christmas is about time with loved ones. Now that I'm older, I get a kick out of seeing the little ones in my family around this time of year. The twinkle in their eyes makes me smile and remember the times I swore I saw Santa or how much effort I put into my parents' homemade gifts.
I hope you're remembering the reason for the season with the ones you love.
