Santa needs a hand this year

This economy is taking a toll this year, and several South Cobb families are feeling the effect.

On Dec. 12, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., The Mableton Business Exchange is partnering with C.A.M.P. to collect toys for South Cobb families.

It will be networking with a cause, businesses coming together to lend a helping hand to C.A.M.P. Grab a Santa bag and collect toys from friends and relatives. The business that brings in the most will win a substantial prize.

Not just businesses, but churches and individuals can lend a hand and make a difference. We will be placing tubs for the toys this week at various locations. If you have a store front and can offer a space for donation pickup, please call 404-723-1095. There will be a follow-up here on South Cobb Patch with information about drop-off locations.

On a special night so many years ago, a child was born to all of humanity. His name is Jesus; his life was a gift to all. God sent us his best! Let's remember that gift and share that love he showed to us then and now. C.A.M.P. is located at 6289 Veterans Memorial Highway in Austell. Call them if your family in is in need or can help others this holiday season at 770-819-0662.
