Harmony Leland Parents Rally at School Board Meeting

Last Wednesday morning,  Parents and business owners in the Harmony Leland Elementary School area in Mableton attended the Cobb County School Board meeting asking for the Cobb County SchooL Board to consider rebuilding their school with SPLOST IV dollars.
Harmony Leland Elementary School parents and business owners in the community are asking that the Cobb County School Board consider rebuilding their school with SPLOST IV funds because of leaking roofs, cracked windows, overcrowding and an old, carpeted gym floor.
This is the oldest school building in Cobb County and it shows.  It was built in 1951!

A new school for this area would only help with business growth and property values.  We also need business owners, churches, and other residents to come to the next Cobb County School Board Meeting on Sept. 26 at 7 PM to voice their support of a new school building.

As our current school building is falling apart, our teachers, administrators, and children are rising above these distractions!  They are learning and growing together and producing good test scores.  Our children deserve a building that they can be proud of!
