Photography 101 Crash Course

If you want to learn photography and only have time for one class or if you have purchased a digital camera and don't know how to use it, this is the class for you.Β  In this class you will learn how take great photos of family members, special events and to capture those once in a life time moments in one three to four hour class. Students will also learn composition and how to use the 'exposure triangle': shutter speed, aperture and ISO. This is an excellent class for people who want to learn how to take great sports action photos and how to take great photos in low light situation. We'll talk about focus, depth of field and sharpness, as well as how lenses work and students will receive a book filled with examples and information to help them in their quest to become a complete photographer. Atlanta Journal Constitution photographer Johnny Crawford teaches the class. He has been at the AJC for 27years and has taught photography at Clark Atlanta University and The University of Georgia. You will learn more in this one class than in most two week classes.

To register for the class email: Jcrawfordajc@yahoo,com

All students need to bring their camera and their 3 favorite photographs. If you have not purchased a camera, just bring your 3 favorite photographs. A camera is not required for the class.
