South Cobb's State Rep Announces Run for School Superintendent
Alisha Morgan is first Democrat to declare candidacy.
State Rep. Alisha Morgan has announced that she will run for state school superintendent next year, according to CBS Atlanta.
Morgan represents District 39, Austell and Mableton, in the State House, and is the first Democrat to declare her candidacy. Her husband is Cobb School Board member David Morgan.
Current superintendent John Barge has announced that he's running for governor next year.
