Going Viral: Did You See Mayor Reed in the Funny Atlanta Bar Mitzvah Video? 

The video that has gone viral across the country is both funny and genuinely entertaining.  The YouTube video called "Daniel's Bar Mitzvah - Save The Date" was published on February 1st and currently has over 134,000 views.

Daniel who is turning 13 in May of 2013, includes cameos from celebs like Shaq, Ne-Yo, and of course SW Atlanta native Mayor Kasim Reed.

According to the AJC, Daniel made it onto "NBC’s “Today” show Wednesday,  and took about nine weeks to produce, according to Daniel Blumen’s father, Atlanta lawyer Rick Blumen."

Alpharetta Councilman Charged with DUI, Child Endangerment 

Alpharetta City Councilman Michael Cross was arrested and charged with DUI and child endangerment on Saturday, Feb. 23, according to an arrest report from the Alpharetta Department of Public Safety.

A police report stated Cross was driving downtown erratically, according to a phone call made by a witness to the Alpharetta 911 Center, reported WSB-TV's Mike Petchenik. A child in the car was not properly restrained in the back seat. Read more on Alpharetta Patch.

The Atlanta home featured in the Oscar-winning film "Driving Miss Daisy" could be your next home.

2 Dozen Brown Middle School Students Sent to Hospital Due to Severe Itching

Reports have surfaced that at least 21 Brown Middle School students have been taken to Hughes-Spalding Hospital due to sever itching.  Most of the children transported were all in the same class, yet it is still unclear what has caused the itching.

11Alive reports that, "officials said there were no hives or rashes reported, but a lot of itching among the students." Read more on Cascade Patch.

Brass Knuckles Trigger 'Soft Lockdown' at Intown Academy 

OLD FOURTH WARD — Students and faculty of the Intown Academy were on lock-down Monday morning, following an incident in which a student brought in a weapon to class.

Atlanta police detained a unidentified student for bringing a set of brass knuckles to school, WSB reported. Read more on Midtown Patch.
