A pedestrian was killed this morning in a hit-and-run on Mableton Parkway.
About 1:21 a.m. Sunday, a vehicle struck 36-year-old Joshua Heath Chellew of Mableton without stopping, said Officer Mike Bowman with the Cobb County Police Department.
Chellew was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he died.
"The only information available about the vehicle at this time is that it was possibly a small red vehicle," Bowman said.
