High School Bands Strut Their Stuff

Beginning in 1972, the Cobb-Marietta Marching Band Exhibition has become a local tradition, allowing band students and the community to see and hear performances from across the area.


Young musicians from across Cobb County will put their collective talents on display at the annual Cobb-Marietta Marching Band Exhibition in the evenings of Tuesday, Oct. 2 and Tuesday, Oct. 9. Featuring performances from each high school in the Cobb County School District, as well as other county schools, the exhibition takes place at McEachern High School’s stadium in Powder Springs and begins at 7 p.m. each night. The Jacksonville State University Marching Southerners band will provide a closing performance for the Oct. 9 exhibition.
