Cobb business owner appointed to Desire Street Ministries' board

MARIETTA, Ga., June 24, 2014 – Corporate Connections President Susan Knox has been appointed to the Advisory Board of non-profit organization Desire Street Ministries.

Knox is the founder of Corporate Connections, a consulting firm that specializes in business development strategy, implementation and execution. Since its 1999 incorporation, Corporate Connections has worked with clients in various sectors throughout the country, including technology, real estate, financial, healthcare, legal, telecommunications, consumer brands and aviation.

“It’s an honor to join such an influential and impactful organization,” Knox said. “I’m proud to work with a board comprised of great business, community and spiritual leaders in the southeast.”

Desire Street Ministries works to revitalize impoverished neighborhoods through spiritual and community development by partnering with local ministries. Desire Street Ministries works in neighborhoods in Atlanta, New Orleans and Dallas; along with, Montgomery, Ala. and Lakeland, Fla.

“As a native Atlantan, Susan is truly committed to improving our community,” said Danny Wuerffel, Desire Street Ministries’ executive director. “Susan has spent her career working to improve the business climate in Georgia. We are pleased to have her expertise help guide Desire Street Ministries.”
