Reporting to the Manager of Talent Acquisition, the Healthcare Recruiter will be responsible for the following:

  • Handles high-volume recruitment, functioning in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
  • Develops sourcing strategies to identify and attract top level talent.
  • Qualifies candidates through phone screening, technical and behavioral interviewing, and other assessments.
  • Conducts departmental visits, phone calls and other correspondence to build long-term relationships.
  • Coordinates employment related activities for assigned departments.
  • Acts as a liaison in resolving employee issues.
  • Provides a high level of customer service. Will function as a consultant to hiring managers.

Required Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree

Required Minimum Experience: Two (2) years of personnel recruitment and selection experience. Preferred background in healthcare.

Required Skills: Must be familiar with current labor laws and personnel policies, procedures and practices.  Requires critical thinking and exceptional organizational skills. Ability to multi-task is essential. Requires knowlege of applicant tracking system and social media applications. Must represent Wellstar in a positive and professional manner.
