Fetus Found in Freezer at Alpharetta Townhome

Alpharetta detectives were called to a Webb Bridge Road townhome complex Aug. 3 to investigate the discovery of a fetus found in a vacant unit.

A cleaning crew arrived at the empty Wedgewood unit and discovered the fully developed fetus inside a shoebox in the unit's freezer, said George Gordon, spokesman for the Alpharetta Department of Public Safety. They reported it to Alpharetta police.

Atlanta Symphony Says East Cobb Schools Not Diverse Enough

The choruses at and high schools have been barred from full participation in the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra's joint holiday concert held in December.

Both schools would still be allowed to send smaller contingents of chorus singers to the performance due to space restrictions.

spokesperson Jay Dillon told 11 Alive News that, "the schools were informed by Symphony officials that their choruses are not diverse enough, and that the Symphony would be inviting a third, more diverse chorus."

Please encourage residents to attend CCt flex bus meeting at the South Cobb Library on Tuesday JuneRead More 18t 6pm-8pm. The first meeting only had 11 residents there and none were bus riders. I have encouraged residents that have teens to attend meeting because this help our teens get to jobs or social activities and not just hang out in the neighborhood. We must also plan for the future and underswtrand that just because you are driving today, it may not be the case all the time. Your situation can change with a blink of an eye.
