Leadership Cobb to Host Music Festival at Mable House Barnes Amphitheatre

The upcoming "Summer of Blue Skies Music Festival" event will be held on May 18 at the Mable House Barnes Amphitheatre from 7-10:30 p.m.

The 2012 Leadership Cobb class will present "Summer of Blue Skies Music Festival," benefiting Blue Skies Ministries. The event will be held on Friday, May 18 at the from 7-10:30 p.m.

The music festival will include entertainment from local bands Bellwether Station, Paradocs and PRIME.  Proceeds from the event will benefit Blue Skies Ministries: "Lifting families above the clouds of childhood cancer."

Since March 2010, Blue Skies has offered retreats to help families living through the challenges of pediatric cancer to heal and find hope where they play, laugh, and reconnect as a family.  Because of generous donations from local businesses and residents to Blue Skies Ministries, families are able to attend these retreats at little to no cost, allowing them to relax and bond with each other, as well as other families on similar journeys.
