Kayla Taylor Jazz - THE BIG BIG SHOW!!!

MABLETON, GA –Grab some food, drinks, your family and friends and enjoy Kayla Taylor Jazz (www.kaylataylorjazz.com) at the Mable House Barnes Amphitheatre on Saturday night, September 8, 2012 at 8 PM.  No longer a secret, the South Cobb Arts Alliance’s free Candlelight Concert series (www.southcobbarts.org) is fast becoming a favorite event throughout metro Atlanta as a fun, romantic and relaxing evening out. 

For the last seven years, Kayla Taylor Jazz has been among the most requested acts in the Candlelight Concert series.  Last season’s show was attended by over 1400 people and has been recorded live.  The live recording has been released as the fourth CD from Kayla Taylor Jazz on the SmartyKat Records label and is titled “The Big Big Show”.  Kayla Taylor, recipient of the 2010 OVATION Award for Outstanding Vocal Performance, performs in a style often described as Bette Midler meets Diana Krall performing various genres of music but primarily vintage jazz from the 1930’s, 1940’s and 1950’s.  Come hear the music of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Billie Holiday, Peggy Lee and many more.

Appearing on stage with Kayla is a who’s who of local talent featuring Steve Moore (guitar); Randy Hunter (tenor saxophone); Mike Zimmerman (drums) and Chris Riggenbach (upright bass). In addition to public performances, the quintet is hired frequently for corporate events and private functions of all types.
