Yet Another Mableton Woman Wins Big With Lotto Ticket

Second Mableton woman in recent weeks to win big in lottery scratch-off game.

A Mableton woman won a quarter-million dollar prize when she stopped at a gas station in Palmetto to buy ginger ale on her way to work on Tuesday. Pamela Taylor, 52, won a $250,000 top prize playing the new Georgia Lottery instant game Cool Cash.

This is not the first time she has been lucky when it comes to instant-win games. In 1996, her husband, Tim Taylor won $30,000 on a scratch-off ticket.

She said in a Georgia Lottery release that they had a "great Christmas" that year and shared their winnings with their family.
