That Nasty Four-Letter S-Word Is Back

Oh, yes, there's snow in the forecast tonight. Don't be alarmed. It shouldn't be much, and we get to see the sun again on Friday.

Yes, it’s that nasty four-letter word that starts with an S. Snow. It would be too soon if you ever saw it again, right?

Well, according to the National Weather Service, there is a 90 percent chance of light snow tonight for the South Cobb area. However, it’s unlikely to be another Snowpocalypse, Snowmaggeddon or whatever quasi-clever name we all used to describe January’s snow event.

The accumulation of snow should be no more than two inches, according to the NWS in Peachtree City. However, the weather organization has issued a winter weather advisory until noon Thursday.

Snow accumulation may create a slick surface on roads, especially over bridges and overpasses.

Remember that three-letter word beginning with an S? Sun? Yes, we’re going to see him again on Friday, and the temps will be in the 60s on Sunday. Get excited.
