Ready to Scream? Six Flags Opens Saturday, Debuts New Coaster This Season

Six Flags opens on Saturday and offers discounted tickets to customers bring six nonperishable items. The park will debut its 11th coaster mid-summer.

If you’re not ready for it, your kids certainly are. Six Flags Over Georgia opens its gates on Saturday for its 44th season.

The amusement park is partnering with to help feed needy Metro Atlanta families and saving customers money at the same time.
Bring six or more non-perishable items to the ticket booth on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. or on Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. and receive a coupon to purchase a one-day admissions pass for $20.11 plus tax. Parking is $15.

This year’s season is jammed with tons of fun events for the entire family.

Right now, the park is only open on weekends until May 27.

Six Flags is hosting its Spring Break April 2-10, and the park will be open daily.

The amusement park will have one more “scream machine” this year. The Dare Devil Dive takes riders on a 10-story vertical lift before dropping them. The new coaster will begin operation in June. Until then, customers can enjoy their favorites like Acrophobia, which was the world’s first triple-looping coaster.

Opening Day Seasonal 3/19 Six Flags Over Georgia is kicking off the 2011 season on March 19 with a special discounted admission price of only $20.11.

Education Days Educational 4/29 - 5/6 During this private event, students in Elementary, Middle and High School will perform group and individual experiments and calculations to answer several workbook questions. Of course, students can enjoy everything that
Six Flags Over Georgia has to offer, including our heart–pounding roller coasters, thrill rides and family attractions. Special pricing is available, including meal options.
