Enjoy the beautiful weather at a local golf course or go take a ride in a monster truck.

It’s Thursday, and you’ve got no idea what you’ll do for the weekend.

Patch is coming to the rescue. We’ve got the best bets for your done-work-outta-here time. Check our picks for the activities to hit and new bars/restaurants/shops to explore.

QUILTING 101
Where/When: , Today, 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Why Go: Learn the fine art of quilting by attending an introductory class. Quilting allows you to be as creative as you like as well as being a fun, relaxing hobby.
Pricing: $10.

NON-MEMBER GOLFING
Where/When: , Mondays through Thursdays, 7:30 p.m. - dusk.
Why Go: Non-members of the country club can enjoy a fun day of golf at this beautifully maintained golf course. Also available for use is a driving range, practice green, outdoor grills and fully stocked pro shop.
Pricing: $45 which includes a cart. Discount twilight rates are also available.

AWESOME CARS
Where/When: , Friday, starting at 5 p.m.
Why Go: Come out and view a collection of antique vehicles from days gone by. Locals and other collectors from around Atlanta will be on hand displaying their skilfully restored cars and trucks.
Pricing: Free

SOUTHEASTERN POWERSPORTS AND OUTDOOR EXPO
Where/When: Jim Miller Park, Friday, noon until 9 p.m.; Saturday, 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Why Go: Powersport and outdoor enthusiasts will not want to miss this first time in Marietta special event. On display will be everything from boats, motorcycles, monster trucks, ATVs and more. There will also be a variety of exhibitors showcasing local racing teams and the latest in hunting and fishing gear. The event is being sponsored by ATV Ministeries, a faith-based community and charitable service organization.
Pricing: $5 for adults, kids aged 12  and under free. Take a ride in the monster truck for an additional $5.

GET YOUR GAME ON
Where/When: , Fridays starting at 8 p.m., Saturdays starting at 7 p.m.
Why Go: Try your hand in the weekly poker tournaments to win house cash. First place wins $25, second place wins $15 and third place wins $10 to spend any way you like at the bar. The Sports Grill also hosts tournaments on Sunday afternoons and Tuesday evenings with Tuesday’s game winners vying for a $1000 gift card.
Pricing: Free to play. Drink and food pricing varies.
