Meehan's Barkfest to Help Homeless Pets

Have fun, enjoy silent auctions and support a good cause at this Saturday's Barkfest at Meehan's Public House.

South Cobb residents are invited to an Irish Barkfest at Meehan’s Public House in Vinings at noon this Saturday, March 30.

Enjoy silent auctions, win prizes and support a good cause all while enjoying Meehan’s grub and grog. The event benefits BullsEye Rescue, an Atlanta-based nonprofit founded last year.

The group needs to raise $2,000 to rehabilitate Lucille, who was hit by a truck and shattered her leg. BullsEye is also looking for volunteers and foster homes for homeless pets as well as donations such as food, treats, bowls and blankets.
