PARENTS FLAG FOOTBALL FUNDRAISER
Where/When: Whitefield Academy, Friday, 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.
Why Go: The vs. the football fundraiser. Parents of students attending these schools will be teaming up and playing against each other on the field. The winning school will receive a trophy.
Pricing: Advance tickets are $2 for kids and $3 for adults. $5 tickets will be available at the gate.
CLEAN SWEEP COBB EVENT
Where/When: Six Flags Drive, Austell, GA, 8:30 a.m. until 12 p.m.
Why Go: The Austell Community Taskforce which meets at the the first Monday of every month, is asking for volunteers to come out and participate in a clean up effort for the Austell community. The main objective this week will be to help beautify the Six Flags Dr., I-20 access road in Austell.
Pricing: Free. All supplies will be provided.
GET YOUR POWER WALK ON
Where/When: The Silver Comet Trail, Saturdays at 8 a.m.
Why Go: Join in the weekly high cardio Jiggle Free Power Walk to burn off any stress from the week or just for the health of it. You may even make some friends along the way.

BREAK OUT THOSE STILLETTOS
Where/When: , Saturdays at 10 p.m.
Why Go: With no cover charge, live music and a 3 percent discount off drinks for each inch of your high heeled shoes, the party never ends.
Pricing: Free entry, drink and food pricing varies.
GO GET TWISTED
Where/When: Newly opened Twisted Taco on E West Connector, all day every day.
Why Go: Great food and a cool atmosphere with live music on the weekends. Plenty of outdoor seating too.
Pricing: $3 Dos Equis draft beer and $4 margaritas.
NOW GO DO THE TWIST
When/Where: The Jennie T. Anderson Theater located inside the , Saturday, 8 p.m.
Why Go: Chubby Checker will be rockin’ the house with golden oldies.
Pricing: $40 per ticket with an additional $8.35 ticket fee.
