Great music, discount Six Flags tickets, St. Patrick's Day fun and a free carpentry class

Attend the opening weekend of Six Flags to support local charity or kick up your heels at a local nightclub.

It’s Thursday, and you’ve got no idea what you’ll do for the weekend.

CARPENTRY WORKSHOP
When/Where: , March 19, 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Why Go: Attend an introduction to carpentry workshop sponsored by the Serenity House Community Center. The workshop will teach basic skills in carpentry and will include snacks and drinks.

LIVE PERFORMANCE BY LADY TONI
Where/When: in Austell,  March 17 starting at 8 p.m.
Why Go: Toni McGuire aka Lady Toni, will perform live folk-christian style music for customer’s entertainment. Lady Toni is an accomplished song writer and musician and performs original songs.
Pricing: Free

SIX FLAGS OPENING DAY AND CHARITY EVENT
Where/When: Six Flags Over Georgia in Austell, Saturday, 10 a.m. until 8 p.m.; Sunday,10:30 a.n. until 7 p.m.
Why Go: Six Flags theme park in conjunction with are sponsoring a canned goods drive with discounted ticketing into the park. Bring six food items from the list provided on the Six Flags website and get a ticket for special pricing at the gate. Tons of fun for everyone.
Pricing: $20.11 each day with canned food donation. $15 parking.

LIVE DJ AND LADIES IN FREE
Where/When: , Fridays and Saturdays beginning at 8 p.m. until 3 a.m.
Why Go: Ladies in free and live DJ this weekend along with $4 shot specials. All the makings of a good time for all.
Pricing: Ladies in free. $5 admission for guys. Drink and food pricing varies.

ST. PATRICK’S DAY FESTIVAL
Where/When: Smyrna Market Village, March 17, starting at 3 p.m. until 11 p.m.
Why Go: St. Patrick’s Day celebration complete with live music from Francisco Vidal and Friends, live DJ, redhead contest and carnival rides. The event is dog friendly so you can bring your pooch too. Proceeds benefit the Mustard Seed Communities.
Pricing: Free. Food and drink pricing varies.
