The Mableton Business Exchange is having a networking "after-hours" event on Monday night at Mexico Lindo. Any South Cobb business is welcome to attend and participate. There will be businesses in attendance from all over Cobb County.
Of late we have had several South Cobb businesses come and join us to promote their business. Networking works when you create relationships and help each other reach clients.
A referral that comes from word of mouth is a greater opportunity to get the business you need. I have personally been networking for three years now. I find that it is an effective way of communicating what your business has to offer. I have visited several businesses in the South Cobb area.

It is a challenge right now in our current economic condition to receive the type of traffic that you need to sustain. You must get the word out about your business at every opportunity. The Exchange was brought to Mableton to assist and help businesses here make further connections and to also bring businesses into town from other areas.
Mableton is a small town, and we still have that small-town-feel. But it is a great place to be. Unlike other surrounding towns, we are just around 20 minutes to all our surrounding areas including Atlanta. If we want to grow and work together a lot can be accomplished to get us out there.

I have done all I can to promote Mableton beyond our city limits. Now I ask you, come out make some new connections. At the "after-hours," we are having a little summer fun. We'll have a crazy flip flop contest for the ladies, and a crazy cap contest for the guys. Note: the hats cannot be obscene in any way. There will be prizes for the winners.
We will be on the patio. It all starts at 5:30 p.m. Please come and bring those business cards. The people in our group are seasoned networkers, and they all can help you along.
