Get Involved in Mableton Community Day!

The sixth annual Mableton Community Day takes place on May 21, but there's still time to get involved in a variety of ways.

Every minute of the sixth annual Mableton Community Day will be packed with entertainment and family-friendly activities all because of the hard work of members of the Mableton (and South Cobb) community.

Every other Tuesday, community members meet at the South Cobb Recreation Center to plan the annual community day, which takes place on May 21 at the Mable House Complex.

Everyone is invited to help out with the event in any way possible, and the biweekly meetings are open to the public. The next one is tonight at 7.

For the first five years, the event was held in the shopping center parking lot across from Mexico Lindo on Veterans Memorial Parkway.

This year kicks off the inaugural Mableton Day 5K Race, and the event will end with a free summer South Cobb Arts Alliance Candlelite concert featuring Kerry Ayres.
