Fun and Safe Halloween Events in and around South Cobb

Play it safe this Halloween, and visit some of these family friendly festivals, and trunk or treating parties.

South Cobb Halloween Church Happenings

- Trunk or Treat, Sunday, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- Trunk or Treat and Festival, Monday, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
- Hallelujah Night with bible stories, games and candy, Monday, starts at 6 p.m.
First Baptist Church of Mableton - Pumpkin Patch Family Event for preschoolers, and grades 1 - 5 and their families. Day trip to a pumpkin patch for fun and surprises, Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Fall Festival with games and candy, Saturday, 3:30 p.m. - 6 p.m.
- Fall Festival, Monday, call 770-948-9465 for times and further information.
- Trunk or Treat, Monday, 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Hallelujah Festival, Saturday, 6 p.m.
- Trunk or Treat Festival with hayrides, hot dogs, games, and candy.Saturday, starts at 5 p.m.

Halloween Events Out and About

Cumberland Mall Trick or Treating Event - Costumed Trick or Treaters are welcome starting Saturday at 10 a.m., with mall merchants offering sweet goodies. There will also be free-standing Halloween treat stations throughout the mall.

D.A.R.E. and Racetrac or teaming together to host a fun and safe Halloween event for kids in Marietta. The fun begins Monday at 4 p.m. at the RaceTrac store at 2491 Macland Rd. in Marietta.  Lot’s of activities for the kids including free candy, a costume contest, face painting and free safety IDs for children provided by the local D.A.R.E. team until 7 p.m.

The Smyrna Legion Family Fall Festival is being held on Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will have a variety of vendors and exhibits including,  artists exhibits, arts and crafts tables, jewelry tables, Legion Family Info Tables. There will be plenty of free activities for the kids, such as a costume contest, face painting, a clown, ring toss, duck pond, coloring, hula hoops, sticker books, and more. Food and beverage items will be available, as well as musical chair cake walk (homemade cakes), and a live auction. The veent will be held at the American Legion Post, 160 Legion Drive, Smyrna, Ga. The public is invited.
