Foster Dog Seeks Help Paying for Surgery

Daisy is currently in a foster home in Georgia and has to have surgery before she can travel north. She has a bladder stone the size of a baseball.

Daisy has a bladder stone that be removed. She is in constant pain and never complains, according to Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb County.

Daisy was rescued from the Cobb Shelter in August by Angels Among Us Animal Sanctuary in Pennsylvania.

Daisy is currently in a foster home in Georgia and has to have surgery before she can travel north. She has a bladder stone the size of a baseball, according to Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb County.

Friends of Shelter Animals is asking for donations to be made to help with her surgery costs, which are going to be between $650 to $700. So far, over $500 has been spent on her for tests, X-rays, medicines, etc.

Please encourage residents to attend CCt flex bus meeting at the South Cobb Library on Tuesday JuneRead More 18t 6pm-8pm. The first meeting only had 11 residents there and none were bus riders. I have encouraged residents that have teens to attend meeting because this help our teens get to jobs or social activities and not just hang out in the neighborhood. We must also plan for the future and underswtrand that just because you are driving today, it may not be the case all the time. Your situation can change with a blink of an eye.
