Christmas Eve Services and a Day Hike
A short day hike and lots of Christmas Eve services make for a nice break from the shopping buzz.
Saturday
1 pm – 3 pm
New Manchester History Hike. Sweetwater Creek State Park, 1750 Mount Vernon Rd, Lithia Springs. The historian or ranger-led mile-long hike (easy to moderate) will lead to the five story ruins of the Civil War-era New Manchester textile mill and focus on the history of the Sweetwater Creek Valley. No dogs or children under 6 years please. The cost is $4 plus $5 parking. For more information, call 770-732-5871.
