Austell Resident Estie Norris Turns 96 Years Young
A surprise party was thrown Saturday for the Austell resident.
Estie Norris, an avid cook and quilter and a longtime member of the , celebrated her 96th birthday on Saturday.
Norris has lived most of her life in the Austell area, but she called Powder Springs home from 1923 until she got married in 1934.
Friends and family gathered at the center to throw a surprise birthday celebration for Norris, complete with a large spread of home-cooked food and entertainment by the Clarkdale Pickers.
