One Last Chance for Football Scholarships

National signing day has come and gone but there are still some great high school football players that have not received any scholarship offers. However, those athletes still have one last chance to be seen by college coaches.

F.R.E. sports is hosting an Unsigned Senior Showcase and College Recruiting Fair on February 15, 2014. The event will be held at the Lakewood Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. This recruiting fair is designed to help with the placement of student athletes that wish to continue their football careers. F.R.E. Sports expects 30 or more college coaches from NCAA Division II, III, NAIA, Junior College, and PREP Schools to attend the event.

Although they received several offers at the beginning of the season, seniors like Mark Monsanto and Brian Granison are still hoping to stand out among their peers and receive offers. "It seems that attending a high school that didn't have a great winning season may have hindered some of us. College coaches just don't want to come out to watch a losing team. Hopefully this showcase will get us some positive results," says Granison.
Monsanto says that he's going to college regardless, but it would be nice to get there with a scholarship.

Those athletes who are still seeking a chance at a scholarship should make it a priority to be at this event. Prospects can visit F.R.E Sport's website at www.fresports.com for more information.
