Imagine if you were a senior citizen in a nursing home and NO friends or relatives ever came to visit you…not even for holidays.

Neighbor Love wants to brighten the day of a WHOLE BUNCH of valuable seniors THIS Father’s Day.

Adopt-a-Senior for Father’s Day is a GREAT way to let a valuable senior know that someone still loves them.  Visit www.adoptasenior.net to see a photo album from our past events.

We are holding these events at FOUR homes in Metro Atlanta.  Our total goal for gift bags for METRO ATLANTA is 200.

Neighbor Love will be delivering gift bags of goodies to seniors during a Father’s Day party on Saturday, June 14th, 11:30am-2pm at Anderson Mill Health and Rehabilitation Center, 2130 Anderson Mill Rd., Austell, GA 30106.

We will be serving the men a meal catered by: Barberitos Mexican, The Cheesecake Factory and Starbucks.

Our goal is to provide a gift bag to EVERY senior man in Anderson Mill Health and Rehabilitation Center totaling 25.

The gift bags will include: shaving cream, socks, a carnation, a piece of fruit, a hand-made Father’s Day Card, and a puzzle book. (exact contents of gift bag are subject to change according to availability of merchandise and the amount of donations received)

The suggested investment to Adopt-a-Senior for Father’s Day is just $20 per gift bag. You can sponsor as many seniors as you would like. A donation of ANY amount is appreciated.

Visit www.adoptasenior.net to volunteer and donate.

DEADLINE to Adopt-a-Senior for Father’s Day is Thursday, June 12

Join us and you can know that you have brightened the day of a valuable senior. And no matter what, PLEASE spread the word about this to ALL of your friends and family. The more exposure we get will help us meet our goal.

IF YOU WANT TO BRING FRIENDS WITH YOU, it is IMPORTANT that you FORWARD this to them and ask them to RSVP separately.

Visit www.adoptasenior.net to volunteer and donate.

If you would like to join us, you are welcome to join us to deliver your bag to the senior men.

We will also need volunteers to help assemble the gift bags and get ready for the party at Anderson Mill Health and Rehabilitation Center 10-11:30am on Saturday, June 14th.

We could use your help in the following ways:

1)      Pray for God’s favor on this service project.

2)     Assembling the gift bags.

3)      Delivering the gift bags, spreading the love of God, to the residents at the party. Adults and their children are welcomed.  Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

4)   Spreading the word about the event to ALL your friends. Please forward this event to them and/or post our Web site on your social media.  www.adoptasenior.net

5)      Help with a suggested investment to Adopt-a-Senior for Father’s Day of just $20 per gift bag.      You can sponsor as many seniors as you would like. A donation of ANY amount is appreciated.

Sponsorship of gift bags would be appreciated but in no way a requirement to volunteer for the event.

Visit www.adoptasenior.net to volunteer and donate.

IF YOU WANT TO BRING FRIENDS WITH YOU, it is IMPORTANT that you FORWARD this to them and ask them to RSVP separately.
