Vote August 21st, 2012
Hello Southwest Cobb,
On August 21st, 2012 there will be a runoff election for Cobb County Commissioner District 4. The runoff will be between Lisa Cupid and incumbent Woody Thompson. The southwest Cobb area is made up of residents who moved to the area less than 20 years ago. The time is now to elect someone with fresh ideas and who will give the community a true representation of change. I would like to say that I respect Mr. Thompson and truly appreciate his leadership for the area. The community spoke on July 31st, 2012 and will do it again on August 21st.

Is this the only announcement we get for the run off??? some people don't know about this patch website. Signs or fliers should be passed out I will pass the word as much as I can. If no more announcement isn't made we could be "stuck" with the same old mess!

Please spread the word about South Cobb Patch. It's the best way for people in South Cobb to stay informed. There have been numerous mentions about the run-offs here. Including this article about advanced voting for the run-offs: http://patch.com/A-wJRp and this one about there being a run-off for District 4 Commissioner: http://patch.com/A-w7XS and this one about the Chairman run-off http://patch.com/A-w735 and more! Spread the word about run-offs on Aug. 21 so that there's just as high a turnout as there was for the July 31 primary!
