Hot bed of political figures.

Oh me oh my or was it eenney meeney moe that one candidate quoted, Thats not important but what was important was that most of the candidates did get to South Cobb and the Six Flags area to attempt to woe the voters.

Not a bad eveing all things considered.

They were competing against the Steak cook out at Jim Miller Park for the  FOP, they were competeing against TWO fundraisers that were being held at the exact same time and they still got three of the four candidates for County Chairman, they got five of the six candidates for district four, they got one of the two candidates for DA  and house of Representatives , Senate and school board competitors.

Thats not too shabby.

Introductions by each, questions posed by the folk in attendance and then a closing statement and a request that the voters vote for them.

Some candidates really need to be aware of time constraints and respect the logistics of the evening so everyone could be heard. That was not the case I am afraid and I am glad that "Big" Mike was there to somewhat enforce the rules.

Most of the discussion was bland and dry except for Monica who is running for Commissioner in District four. She was a live wire and drew applause from the crowd of about 75 people.

It was very informative but still has not opened the door for interactive discussions between the candidates. Having been to just about everyone of these debates I want to see exchanges between opposing candidates to get to the real differences between them all.

I hope the foto series will give you a good idea about those who were there and those who missed  (legitimately) because of previously committed events.
