Whitefield Academy Advances to Region 9-A Title Game
WolfPack cruise past Landmark Christian 68-45, one win away from clinching championship
Whitefield Academy proved to be too much to handle for Landmark Christian, winning its Region 9-A semifinals match, 68-45.
The WolfPack were led by junior shooting guard Kenneth Gaines, who scored 21 points. Fellow backcourt mate, senior point guard Tekele Cotton, chipped in with 17 points. War Eagles' big man Houston Kessler finished the game with 18 points for Landmark Christian.
faces Paideia in the Region 9-A championship game Saturday evening at 6:30 p.m. at Whitefield Academy. Landmark Christian takes on Eagle's Landing Christian Academy in the Region 9-A third place game at 5 p.m.
